How we handle your data

A ceremony is a private thing. We collect what performing it requires and nothing beyond that.

• What we ask forA phone number, a name for the sankalpa, and an address to come to. Optionally your gotra. That is the whole list.
• What we never ask forIdentity documents, dates of birth, income, caste certificates. None of it is needed to perform a ceremony.
• Your Purohit seesYour name, your address on the day of the ceremony, and anything you chose to tell them. Not your phone number until the morning.
• PhotographsKept private to you unless you choose to share them with family. Never public, never used in marketing, never shown to another customer.
• Final ritesPhotographs from final rites are private permanently. This cannot be changed, by you or by us.
• PaymentsHandled by the payment gateway. We never see or store your card details.
• Deleting your dataAsk us and we remove it, keeping only what the law requires us to keep for accounting.
