The short version: book honestly priced ceremonies from verified Purohits, and we’ll hold up our side of every commitment on this page and the ones it links to.

• Using this platformHouse of Purohit connects families with independently verified Purohits for ceremonies performed at your own home. Booking through the platform means you agree to these terms and to the policies they reference.
• What’s included in a bookingExactly what a booking covers — and what it doesn’t — is set out on the booking policy page, not repeated here, so there’s only one place it can go out of date.
• Cancellations and refundsCancellation terms are described in full on the cancellation policy page, including how refunds are calculated when a Purohit withdraws or a ceremony can’t be arranged.
• PricingEvery price is shown before you pay. Fresh flowers and fruit, when chosen, are billed at what they cost on the day, never above the ceiling you set.
• Your dataWhat we collect, what we never ask for, and how it’s handled is described on the privacy policy page.
• Purohit verificationEvery Purohit on the platform is verified in person before appearing here. Verification reflects the checks we perform — it is not a guarantee of a specific outcome from any ceremony.
• Changes to these termsThese terms may be updated as the platform changes. The version on this page is the one that applies.
• Governing lawThese terms are governed by the laws of India. Questions about them can be sent through House of Purohit's contact page.
